Poco C40 Global Launch Date Scheduled for June 16

Poco is preparing to launch its first entry-level smartphone, the Poco C40, later this year. The Poco C40 will be announced on June 16, which will be the global launch date for the smartphone. Poco has also revealed a number of the smartphone’s features ahead of its introduction.

Poco Global confirmed on Twitter that the POCO C40 will go on sale globally on June 16th, with a digital launch event hosted by the company. When it comes to the design of the POCO C40, the firm claims that it will have an exclusive design created by the company. Poco also teased the smartphone’s appearance, showing the Poco C40 from the back in the company’s distinctive yellow colour. A fingerprint sensor is also visible on the back of the phone.

Other teased features include a 6,000mAh battery, which Poco claims will be the largest battery ever on a POCO smartphone. It will also include a 6.71-inch teardrop notch display, making it the largest POCO smartphone display to date.

Poco C40: Rumoured Specifications

PassionateGeekz recently released the Poco C40’s specifications and render. The smartphone could have a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate and an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels. According to the leak, it will be the world’s first handset to include a JLQ JR510 entry-level processor.

The phone will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It will be powered by a 6,000mAh battery that enables 18W charging, however it will only come with a 10W charger.

It will have a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, as well as a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel secondary snapper on the rear. There will be a 3.5mm headphone jack on the smartphone, as well as 4G LTE compatibility. It might come in three colours: green, yellow, and black.

Poco also appears to be working on the X4 GT, which could include a 6.6-inch LCD panel with a full-HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. A MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC will power the smartphone.
