Poco F4 5G India Launch Date Set for June 23
Poco stated earlier this month that it will bring out a new F-series smartphone in the Indian and worldwide markets soon. Although the firm did not reveal much information at the time, the Poco F4 5G has finally been given a launch date. Poco will introduce another product in the global market in addition to the F4 5G. Poco F4 5G Launch for India and Global Dates
Poco came to Twitter today to announce the global launch of the Poco F4 5G, which had been rumoured for some time. The smartphone will be launched in India on June 23, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. IST, in a dedicated virtual event that will be broadcast live on YouTube and Poco’s other official platforms. The announcement tweet can be found directly below.
In addition, the Flipkart logo can be seen in the teaser image’s top left corner, indicating that the Poco F4 5G would be unique to the Indian e-commerce platform.

Poco has confirmed the availability of another device for the global market, in addition to the Poco F4 5G. The Poco X4 GT is thought to be a rebranded Redmi Note 11T Pro, which was launched late last month in China. As a result, the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, a 4,400mAh battery, and 64MP triple cameras are predicted.
Poco F4 5G: Expected Specifications and Features
In terms of the Poco F4 5G, the company has been teasing some of the device’s important features on social media over the last week. Furthermore, rumours and design teases suggest that the device would be a rebranded Redmi K40S, which was released alongside the Redmi K50 series in China earlier this year. A 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate is believed to be included in the device.
Poco has already stated that the Snapdragon 870 chipset will power the F4 5G. Up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage will be available. Furthermore, a 4,500mAh battery unit with 67W rapid charging capabilities is believed to be included in the device.
The Poco F4 5G is expected to have a triple rear camera setup, which includes a primary 64MP lens with OIS (confirmed), an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 119-degree FOV, and a 2MP macro sensor. It is also believed to have a front-facing selfie camera with a resolution of 20 megapixels.
Aside from that, the Poco F4 5G will have a fingerprint sensor on the side, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and support for 5G networks, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.1. It will most likely come with the MIUI 13 custom skin, which is based on Android 12.
Although Poco has not confirmed the price of the device, speculations claim that it will be available in a single variant and would cost roughly $459 (Rs 35,839) in the global market. According to leaks, the Poco F4 5G will cost Rs 26,999 in India. It’s worth mentioning, though, that the pricing has yet to be announced.
