Last year, Realme made its tablet launch with the 10.4-inch Realme Pad 4G. In India, the Chinese company just unveiled a smaller, more toned-down Realme Pad Mini. Now, the company is expected to release its next-generation Realme Pad tablet, which will feature 5G capabilities and flagship specifications.

Realme Pad 5G expected to debut with Snapdragon Processor

Realme is planning to introduce its next-generation tablet with 5G compatibility shortly, according to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, and it could be called the Realme Pad 5G Master Explorer edition in China. This follows Realme’s Madhav Sheth’s previous confirmation that the company will soon release a 5G tablet. According to reports, the company has created two prototypes of the next tablet, both of which have Snapdragon processors.

One of the prototypes, which is most likely the lower-end model, has a 2.5K LCD display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 870 SoC, and an 8,360mAh battery, according to the leakster’s Weibo post. To compete with tablets like the Xiaomi Pad 5, which recently arrived in India, the tablet is rumoured to include a stylus.

There could also be a high-end tablet model using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset, which has been delayed. As a result, we expect Realme to release its tablet in the second half of 2022, once Qualcomm releases the mentioned chipset. Apart from that, little is known about the Realme Pad model.

Other information about both variants of the Realme Pad 5G is currently unavailable. More information about the device is anticipated to surface online as the official launch date approaches.
