Redmi K50i will be rebranded as the Redmi Note 11T Pro in India

According to the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website, the Redmi K50i would be released in India very soon. The handset is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro, which was released in China in May. However, the company has not released any formal information about the device’s launch.

Mukul Sharma, a tipster, just revealed an image of a phone with the model number 22041216I, which he believes is the Redmi K50i, the rumoured Indian version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro. The Redmi Note 11T Pro comes with a 6.6-inch display, a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, a triple camera setup at the back, and a 5080mAh battery pack that supports 67W fast charging in China.

“The Indian variant of the Poco X4 GT has now completed the BIS approval process,” Sharma said. The Poco X4 GT, according to the source, is the global version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro.

The smartphones were assigned the following codenames while being listed on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website: ‘Xagapro’ for the Redmi Note 11T Pro+ and ‘xaga’ for the Redmi Note 11T Pro. Similarly, the codenames for the Poco X4 GT Pro and Poco X4 GT are supposed to be the same. The Redmi K50i Pro was given the codename ‘xagainpro,’ while the Redmi K50i was given the codename ‘xagain.’

Redmi Note 11T Pro: Specifications and Features

The Redmi Note 11T Pro has a 6.6-inch display with a resolution of 2,460 x 1,080 pixels and a seven-level refresh rate of 144Hz. The smartphone is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, as well as up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The Redmi Note 11T Pro is powered by a 5,080mAh battery that supports rapid charging at 67W. The phone has a triple camera arrangement on the back, with a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 main sensor. For thermal control, it also incorporates a vapour cooling (VC).
