Samsung is planning to Release One UI 4.1.1 Update for all of its Galaxy devices
A consumer desires continuous OS upgrades. Samsung, a South Korean company, has been one of the most reliable OEMs in recent years when it comes to timely Android and security updates for its phones. The company has committed to deliver four years of Android security updates to certain devices it has launched starting in 2019. Over the last few months, Samsung has updated a number of its Galaxy S, Galaxy M, and Galaxy A phones to One UI 4 based on Android 12.
In early 2022, Samsung began rolling out one UI 4.1 software for the Galaxy S22 series. Samsung has begun to give out the upgrade to all of its Galaxy handsets since then. One UI 4.1.1 is scheduled to be released later this year, according to rumours. Let’s take a closer look at this upcoming software update, which is set to arrive later this year.
Release of One UI 4.1.1 is expected later this year
The next software version was revealed by a GoodLock moderator on the Samsung Community site in South Korea. A user had asked for help with the Wonderland module, and the moderator was responding. “The mistake identified by the customers requires a lot of platform level code correction and is reflected on One UI 4.1.1 version,” the moderator responded. Customers will have to wait for version 4.1.1 to arrive, but once it does, the difficulties should be resolved.
Last year, Samsung launched a UI 3.1.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphones, as well as Samsung Galaxy tablets. The One UI 4.1.1 update will be issued alongside the next-generation foldable smartphone, which is slated to be unveiled in August of this year, according to the source. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be launched alongside the Galaxy Watch 5 series during Samsung’s Unpacked event in August.
One UI 4.1.1 is expected to add a few extra features to the existing One UI 4.1 for foldable and large-screen smartphones. Version 4.1.1 will most likely be based on Android 12, while One UI 5.0 will most certainly be based on Android 13.
