Team Soul Doesn’t Make it to the BGIS 2023 Grand Finals

Team Soul journey ended in the Semifinals of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023. Over four days and 12 matches, they managed to secure only 23rd place. They totaled 60 points but didn’t manage a single chicken dinner.

Team Medal led the charge in the Semifinals, securing a solid 148 points. Following closely were Revenant and Gladiators Esports. Other teams like Gods Reign and Team XSpark also impressed, securing their places in the finals. Blind Esports made it to the 13th spot.

Team Soul’s performance was unexpected. They started off in Group A with top-performing teams Medal Esports and Gladiators Esports. But by the end of day one, they were struggling at 26th place. They tried to recover over the next days but their efforts didn’t change their standings much.

This outcome for Team Soul is surprising because they recently won two major events. Their star players, Goblin and Akshat, were standout performers in those tournaments. However, the BGIS Semifinals saw a dip in their gameplay.

The next big event, the BGIS 2023 Grand Finals will happen on October 12, 13, and 15 in Mumbai. It will host India’s top 16 teams. These teams will compete for the title and a big cash prize. Fans can catch all the action live on platforms like YouTube and Jio Cinema. The event will be available in eight different languages for viewers.
