WhatsApp rolls out Advanced Search feature for Beta users.

WhatsApp has brought many prompt updates and features in the recent times.As we all Know, Whatsapp as already brought Animated Stickers and QR codes on iOS, Dark mode for web and desktop, improved video calls, and disappearing status features for KaiOS users and now there are some more updates on its way for users.

The Advanced Search feature lets you search for a specific type of file like GIF, text, picture, documents and audio.This feature is by default turned on in Whatsapp. When you select the search tool on top of the app, a drop down menu will appear with different options including photos, videos, links, GIFs, audio and documents.

You can select on any of the options or you can simply type out in the search bar.Selecting any of the options will show everything that has been shared of that particular file type on WhatsApp.

Rooms feature has also been rolled out to Android beta users. Rooms is WhatsApp’s video conferencing app which lets you call with friends on Facebook with up to 50 participants.

WhatsApp has rolled out the animated sticker feature for its Android Users Also.The QR code support has come for iOS users and it could be expected to come to Android soon. This feature will let you share your QR code instead of the phone numbers.

The new Advanced search feature on WhatsApp is pretty helpful especially for someone who stores a lot of data on the app.
