The Chromebook Flip C436 is a successor to the Chromebook Flip C436. The Flip C436 features a slightly thinner and lighter magnesium alloy body with a 14-inch NanoEdge display. The 14-inch display is a 1080p touchscreen with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Made from magnesium alloy, the Flip C436 is ultralight at 2.4 pounds. The Chromebook Flip C436 includes 10th Gen Intel processors with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.The new model comes with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.

It has a fingerprint sensor and stylus support. It also has 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports and 1 x audio jack COMBO. The Chromebook Flip C436 is powered by a 42WHr battery.

The Chromebook Flip C436 is now available for pre-order on Amazon, with a projected release date of February 24th. The base model with a Core i3-10110U processor and 8GB RAM costs $799.99, a significant price jump from the C434, which has floated around ~$550 since release. The Core i5 model is $999.99, but you get double the RAM (16GB) and 4x the storage (512GB).

The thinness is really the striking feature of this laptop. When you turn it to the side you can really get a feel for how thin this thing is and with the pricing, ASUS Chromebook Flip C436 is the most expansive flip.
