Gladiator Esports becomes the Winner of BGMS Season 2

In an electrifying finish to the Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2, Gladiator Esports clinched the coveted title, narrowly surpassing Orangutan by a solitary point. Across the spectrum of twelve gripping matches, Gladiator Esports racked up 150 points with two stellar chicken dinners, while Orangutan closely trailed with 149 points from two wins.

Velocity Gaming, not to be left behind, impressed with their performance, amassing 137 points and securing the third position with three chicken dinners to their credit.

The top-notch gameplay of Gladiator Esports was given a whopping INR 1 Crore, while Orangutan and Velocity Gaming were awarded INR 35 Lakhs and INR 12.5 Lakhs respectively for their remarkable efforts.

Justin “Justin” Nadar of Gladiator Esports etched his name as the MVP of BGMS Season 2, boasting an impressive 85 finishes. Meanwhile, Team Soul’s Akshat “Akshat” Goel captured the imagination of the audience, winning the Audience Favorite Raider title along with the enviable TVS Raider bike.

The finale of BGMS Season 2 was an edge-of-the-seat thriller as Gladiator Esports and Orangutan went toe-to-toe for the championship crown. With Orangutan’s stronghold in the initial days, Day 3 was teeming with anticipation.

Orangutan maintained their dominance early on, bagging 12 points in Match 1. Gladiator Esports and Velocity Gaming, however, had a slow start. Things took a turn in the second match, with Velocity Gaming clinching the chicken dinner and a total of 22 points, and Gladiator Esports showcasing impeccable gameplay to accumulate 25 points, propelling them to the leaderboard’s pinnacle.

As the matches unfolded, Orangutan’s crucial win on Miramar bolstered their top spot, but Gladiator Esports and Team Velocity were relentless, both fetching 16 points apiece.

The championship’s fate hinged on the final game on Erangel. Orangutan’s early elimination and Gladiator Esports’ intense face-offs with Team 8Bit and Team Insane kept fans on their toes. Gladiator’s Parth “DeltaPG” Garg’s survival skills in the endgame clinched those decisive two points, ensuring their championship win by the narrowest of margins.
