Google Pixel Watch Specifications Have Been Leaked

Google has previously announced that the Pixel Watch will be available this autumn by releasing a teaser during the I/O 2022 event. While we now only know what it will appear like, stories about its internals have begun to circulate. According to current rumours, the watch will include a four-year-old chip. More spec information has now arrived, which might be good news for many. Check it out.

Pixel Watch Will Feature Two Processors

According to 9To5Google, the presence of Samsung’s Exynos 9110 chip, which is four years old, is confirmed. It has also been reported that it will be accompanied by a co-processor to handle various tasks without overloading the main chip.

This will be similar to how the Snapdragon Wear 4100+ manages the Always-on-Display (AOD) feature and other chores. If this is the case, we should expect improved performance, which was previously questioned when the prior report was released. However, we don’t know whether Google intends to bring a Tensor-branded co-processor for this, and the bigger question is, will this be true? We’ll have to wait for Google’s response on this.

It is also speculated that the Pixel Watch would include 32GB of onboard storage, which is quite large when compared to the storage options offered by many smartwatches at the moment. This storage space is expected to aid in the download of songs from apps such as Spotify and even YouTube Music, which was just added to Wear OS for direct music streaming.

Furthermore, extra RAM is anticipated. According to the rumour, the Pixel Watch may have 2GB of RAM or more, which is higher than the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. This could boost the performance of the Google Watch once more, and utilizing an old processor might not feel so bad!

A heart rate sensor, a SpO2 monitor, and loads are apparent health-related elements. However, more definite details are required because what we are hearing currently are rumours.
