HydrogenOS Version 5 Based on Android 10 for Oneplus 6&6T.

OxygenOS designed specifically for the Chinese home market is called HydrogenOS.Hydrogen OS is basically Oxygen OS without the Google play services as Google is banned in China.

In May 2020, Oneplus started pushing a stable update of android 10 based on Hydrogen OS 10 for their devices as promised by the company. Oneplus 5 and 5T got three open beta updates based on Android 10 for both OS Hydrogen OS and Oxygen OS.

Changelogs of Stable Hydrogen OS for Oneplus 5 and 5T were:

  • System
    • Upgraded to Android 10
    • Brand new UI design
    • Enhanced location permissions for privacy
    • New customization feature in the Settings allowing you to choose icon shapes to be displayed in the Quick Settings
  • Game Space
    • New Game Space feature now add all your favorite games in one place for easier access and better gaming experience
  • Message
    • Now possible to block spam by keywords for Message (Messages – Spam – Settings – Blocking settings)
  • Full Screen Gestures (Oneplus 5T only )
    • Removed back gesture from the bottom of the screen
    • Added back gesture on left and right side of the phone
    • Added a bottom navigation bar to allow switching left or right for recent apps.

  • Add mini games,start the game in seconds,click to play.
Update Method 
1. The system will gradually push version updates.
  After receiving the push, you can download and install the new version on your mobile phone.
