Should I Update My iPhone to iOS 16 Beta?

You’re probably debating whether or not to install the iOS 16 beta on your supported device right now. While it’s exciting to be in the driver’s seat and test new features ahead of the majority of users, proceed with care. Furthermore, keep in mind that developer builds can be full of bugs and issues that can become irritating over time.

The installation of beta builds can sometimes result in unexpected failures and crashes, resulting in data loss. Back up your iPhone using iCloud or iTunes/Finder, whichever is more convenient for you, before installing it. You will no longer have to be concerned about data loss if you have a current backup on hand. Furthermore, if you ever need to downgrade from iOS 16 to iOS 15 for whatever reason, you can do so without losing any data.

Installing the iOS 16 beta on a backup iPhone is something else you should do without fail. Yes, we advise you to avoid placing your everyday driving in danger. Random rebooting, battery drain, and app crashes can all have an impact on your day-to-day usage. To test the iOS 16 developer beta, find a second iPhone (if one is available).

If you have an Apple developer account, you can quickly download and install the iOS 16 beta to try out all of the new features. Can you get the iOS 16 beta if you don’t have a developer account? Yes, you certainly can! Even if you don’t have a developer account, you can download and install iOS 16 on your iPhone using a reliable workaround.
