OnePlus 10R grabs OxygenOS 13.1 Update with New Gaming Experience and Zen Space App

OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS 13.1.0.520 update for the OnePlus 10R in India. The company announced the news in a forum post, stating that the update is being pushed out incrementally, and users can expect to receive it soon.

The update brings several improvements to the device, including enhanced personalization features, improved health functionalities, and an improved gaming experience. One of the major highlights of the update is the expansion of Omoji’s functionality and library, which allows users to use a wider range of animated emojis.

The OxygenOS 13.1 update also includes a new TalkBack feature that recognizes and announces images in apps and photos, making the device more accessible for visually impaired users. Additionally, the update introduces the new Zen Space app, which comes with two modes – Deep Zen and Light Zen – that help users focus on the present and improve their mental wellbeing.

The gaming experience on the OnePlus 10R is also set to improve with the OxygenOS 13.1 update. The update adds a Championship mode to Game Assistant that enhances performance and disables notifications, calls, and other messages, giving users a more immersive gaming experience. The update also adds a music playback control to Game Assistant, allowing users to listen to and control music easily while gaming.

The OTA version number for the OxygenOS 13.1 update has been changed to a new format as part of OnePlus’ optimization process. The company apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

The software version of OnePlus 10R is OxygenOS 13.1 CPH2423_13.1.0.520(EX01), and the update size for this version is 5.41 GB. On the other hand, the software version for the OnePlus 10R Endurance Edition is OxygenOS 13.1 CPH2411_13.1.0.520(EX01), and the update size for this version is expected to be similar.

The update distribution process will be incremental, and initially, only a small portion of users will receive the OTA update. OnePlus will begin a broader rollout in the coming days. If you haven’t received the update yet, keep an eye out for it in the near future.

How to Update:

To update your OnePlus 10R to OxygenOS 13.1.0.520, please follow the steps below:

1. Make sure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network or Mobile Data, and that your battery level is at least 30%.
2. Go to your phone’s Settings app, then select System.
3. From the System menu, select System updates.
4. Your phone will check for updates. If OxygenOS 13.1.0.520 is available for your device, you will see an option to download and install the update.
5. Tap on the Download and Install option, and wait for the update to complete. This may take some time, depending on your internet connection speed and the size of the update.
6. Once the download is complete, tap on Install now, and wait for the installation process to finish.
7. Your device will restart automatically after the installation is complete.
