OnePlus 10R with MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX, 150W Fast Charge Launched in India

In India, OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 10R smartphone during a virtual launch event broadcast on the company’s YouTube page. The OnePlus 10R is just a rebranded version of the newly released OnePlus Ace in China. MediaTek Chipset, Triple Cameras, 150W Fast Charging, and other amazing features and specs are included in the smartphone. Let’s take a look at the OnePlus 10R’s specifications and cost.

OnePlus 10R: Specifications and Features

The OnePlus 10R has been released in India with a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and even a 720Hz gaming touch sampling rate. The device’s display has a DCI P3 colour gamut of 100 percent, HDR10+ support, and a maximum brightness of 1000nits.

The latest MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX chipset powers the smartphone. The processor is accompanied by up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage on the device. The gadget also has its own graphics chip, which helps to improve framerates in games. In addition, OnePlus has included the HyperBoost game frame stabilisation engine, which reduces jittering and frame drops during long gaming sessions.

In terms of the camera module, the OnePlus 10R has a triple rear camera configuration with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor at the centre (with OIS, 4K, night mode, and more). The phone also includes an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor in addition to the primary sensor. A 16MP sensor is housed in a punch-hole cutout on the device’s front. Out of the box, the phone runs ColorOS 12, which is based on Android 12.

The phone comes with a 4500mAh battery that supports 150W rapid charging. According to OnePlus, the smartphone’s battery can charge from 0% to 30% in under 3 minutes. OnePlus assured those who were concerned that the OnePlus Ace’s battery health would only deteriorate to 80% after 1600 charging cycles (equivalent to over four years). A version of the smartphone with a 5000mAh battery and capability for 80W fast charging is also available.

OnePlus 10R: Price and Availability

In India, the OnePlus 10R is available in three different models. The base model, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and an 80W/5000mAh battery, costs Rs 38,999. Next, for Rs 42,999, you can have a variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, as well as the same battery specifications. Finally, a model with 150W fast charging and a 4500mAh battery, as well as 12GB + 256GB of storage, has been priced at Rs 43,999. Sierra Black and Forest Green are the two colour options for the gadget. From May 4, the smartphone will be available for purchase.
