OnePlus 8T Update to OxygenOS 11.0.2.3 optimizes 5G & more.

Few days back, Oneplus 8T received OxygenOS 11.0.1.2 update which was the first post-release update for 8T hardware and the first post-OxygenOS 11 update release for any OnePlus device.

Now, Oneplus has released a new OxygenOS stable update for Oneplus 8T that’s focused on optimizing the system, Bluetooth, and network for a better experience.

One of the big changes is the optimization of OxygenOS’s “intelligent 5G function”, which should extend the battery life of the 8T. The new update also improves power consumption and reduces heat generation.

The update also improves system stability and fixes an issue where icons don’t display on the home screen.

OxygenOS 11.0.2.3 also makes some changes to Bluetooth performance, including improved connection stability. A fix to the gallery that saw some abnormal display issues when loading a preview photo has also been done.

Recently, Oneplus has also rolled out OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 3 for its OnePlus 8 series, which included Canvas AOD and bumped up the Android Security Patch level to October 2020.

Oneplus 7 series also got October Security patch & some bug fixes with latest Oxygen OS Open Beta.
