OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition Coming Soon – Expected Indian pricing

OnePlus is known for producing some of the best-limited edition phones in the business, having collaborated with Disney on the OnePlus 5T Star Wars and OnePlus 6 Avengers Editions, and then with Formula 1 team McLaren on the OnePlus 6T McLaren and OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren.

Last month, we discovered that OnePlus was working with Bandai Namco on a PAC-MAN-themed OnePlus Nord 2 special edition. We got our first glimpse at a number of software customizations coming with the smartphone at the time, including a new lock screen clock motif, a new fingerprint animation, stickers, and more. OnePlus has stated that the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition will be available shortly, and has revealed pricing details ahead of the formal release.

OnePlus has stated that the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition will be available shortly, and has revealed pricing details ahead of the formal release. Oliver Zhang revealed that the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition will launch in a single 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The device will set you back ₹37,999 in India, £499 in the UK, and €529 in Europe. That’s a minor price bump compared to the vanilla 12GB/256GB OnePlus Nord 2, which currently retails for ₹34,999 in India, £469 in the UK, and €499 in Europe.

Along with the pricing, Zhang revealed additional details about the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition’s UI improvements. The device will be the first from the company to have a “gamified” user interface with “endless fun and enjoyment from the popular PAC-MAN arcade game,” according to the company. New icons based on the old game, new static and live wallpapers, PAC-MAN-themed animations, the PAC-MAN 256 game, a unique camera filter, and more will be included in the customizations.

Furthermore, the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition will have a series of challenges that, if accomplished, will grant access to a wealth of exclusive PAC-MAN content. The smartphone will also come with “its own own storey portraying PAC-adventure MAN’s into the OnePlus universe,” according to the company.

The OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition will come with a new “dual film colour, substance, and finish” that incorporates PAC-MAN features into its design. The phone’s back will light in the dark and display the classic PAC-MAN maze. The internals, on the other hand, will not alter.

The device’s release date has yet to be announced by OnePlus. In the days coming up to the launch, we expect the corporation to provide further details.
