Today, Oneplus officially unveils its new logo which is now live on its website.

OnePlus recently announced that there will be something new coming from the Chinese smartphone maker on 18th March. Oneplus CEO Pete Lau talked about introducing a new company logo in a blog post. He said that the announcement will be made on 18 March.

Today, Oneplus has officially revealed its new logo which is now live on the company’s website. In several countries, the company’s official website carries the new logo.

The icon of the new logo is mostly unchanged but the text is different now. Zhang Xuan, an executive at OnePlus said that the redesign of the branding comes after taking into consideration of many aspects such as the company’s strategy, brand positioning, cultural background, users, etc.

The new branding changes have been done keeping in mind the laws and regulations as well. The font that the company has used is a bit heavier. This new logo will be used on the Oneplus upcoming OnePlus 8 series.

Recently, another leak showed Robert Downey Jr, a brand ambassador of OnePlus holding OnePlus 8 Pro. The image was taken by a photographer when Robert Downey Jr was shooting for an advertisement and this image was eventually taken down.

In a tweet by Max J, it is revealed that OnePlus might unveil the OnePlus 8 series on 15 April.
