OnePlus has released the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 2 for the OnePlus 11. This follows the release of Open Beta 1, which was launched on September 12. The latest Beta promises several new features and fixes based on user feedback.

It’s important for users to remember that this is beta software, meaning it may not be as stable as the official OTA updates. If you choose to install it, you’ll be doing so at your own risk. Currently, this open beta is available exclusively for India and North America.

Known Issues:

  • Probable failure of first fingerprint unlock on third-party music lock screen.
  • Connectivity issues with WhatsApp calls while using full screen for games or videos.
  • Abnormal brightness on lock screen in darker settings.
  • When using AI in Camera on full screen, photos might show black edges.
  • No reminders might appear when screen recording is activated.

Changelog Highlights:

  • System: Fixes include addressing third-party app crashes, a screen flicker anomaly, and non-responsive swipe-up gestures.
  • Connections: Resolved a volume discrepancy with Bluetooth headphones.
  • Camera: Corrections include status bar display issues, a malfunctioning toolbar, and a display glitch when activating Interval shooting in landscape mode.

Users are urged to ensure their device runs on the latest OxygenOS 13.1 version. Also, devices with a battery level below 30% or with less than 4GB of available storage should not attempt the upgrade. Notably, carrier-specific versions (TMO/Verizon) are not compatible with Open Beta builds.

How to Apply:
