OxygenOS Open Beta 7 rolls out for the OnePlus 8/8 Pro with Feb Security patch & other Fixes.

Last month Oneplus Rolled out OxygenOS Open Beta 6 rolls out for the OnePlus 8/8 Pro with new “Dock” dashboard, January 2021 patches, and more.

Oxygen OS open beta 7 brings Android Security Patch of 2021.02 along with Adjustment to the layout of the emergency rescue in the password lock screen & Improved Camera stability.

Changelogs of Open beta 7

  • System
    • Adjusted the layout of the emergency rescue in the password lock screen
    • Fixed the issue that the Horizon light has a small probability of failing to turn on
    • Updated Android Security Patch to 2021.02
  • Camera
    • Optimized the stability

Please keep in mind that this is beta software. These builds are sometimes not as stable as our official OTAs generally are. By installing this update, you accept the potential risks. OxygenOS Open Beta 7 rolls out for the OnePlus 8/8 Pro with Feb Security patch & other Fixes.

Please note:

  • If you have already flashed an Open Beta (you are currently running the latest Open Beta), you will receive this new build as an OTA.
  • Once you migrate to the Beta path, you will continue to receive Open Beta OTAs. You will no longer receive the regular Official Stable OTAs.
  • Moving back to the Official OTA path from the Beta path will require a full install and clean flash (full wipe of all data and cache).
