Realme just released the Realme Pad X in China, which is the company’s first tablet featuring a stylus. While it is expected to arrive in India eventually, the company’s CEO Madhav Sheth recently teased that it could come very soon. Here are the important details to be aware of.

Realme Pad X has been teased in India

Madhav Sheth, the CEO of Realme, recently tweeted that the Realme Pad X would be released if a condition is met. The stipulation was that the teaser tweet be retweeted 300 times.

As expected, the target was met, confirming the debut of the Realme X Pad in India. Sheth’s tweet had been retweeted 480 times as of the time of writing this piece, with more expected.

However, neither Sheth nor Realme have stated when the Realme Pad X will be available in India. Given how soon after the Pad X’s introduction in China was teased, the Indian launch could happen soon. In India, the Realme Pad X will join the Realme Pad and the Realme Pad Mini.

To recall, the Realme Pad X supports stylus input and looks very similar to the Oppo Pad, with a few minor variations. It has a flat-edge design and is available in blue, black, and bright green. The tablet boasts an 11-inch 2K display with Low Blue Light Certification from Rheinland and is powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor. The Realme Pad X is expected to include a Snapdragon 870 SoC, according to rumours.

The device runs Realme UI for Pad and has an 8,340mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 105-degree selfie camera. Dolby Atmos compatibility, Hi-Res audio, four speakers, a USB Type-C port, and other features are included. With a starting price of CNY 1,199 (Rs 13,800), we may expect the Realme Pad X to fall into the budget price segment in India.

It’s better to wait for more specific details on the Realme Pad X’s introduction in India, as we still need them.
