Samsung Galaxy M21 is now receiving the Android 12 Update

Samsung has finally issued the Android 12 update for the Galaxy M21, months after it was released for mid-range phones like the Galaxy A42 and Galaxy A52.

The firmware version M215FXXU2CVCC comes with the Android 12 upgrade for the Galaxy M21. It also includes the April 2022 security patch, which addresses over 88 security flaws. Android 12 comes with a new UI design that includes the Color Palette feature, redesigned and enhanced widgets, and bigger slider bars.

More widgets for the home and lock screens have been added by the South Korean company. The picture-in-picture feature has also been enhanced. The section on Device Care has been redesigned.

All stock apps, including Bixby, Bixby Routines, Gallery, Messages, Phone, Reminders, Samsung Internet, Samsung Keyboard, and Samsung My Files, have been upgraded as part of the One UI 4.1 update.

Samsung has also increased privacy and security on the Galaxy M21 by enabling/disabling camera and microphone access across the system via simple setting toggles. A Privacy Dashboard and privacy indicators have also been created by the company (for camera and mic usage). The accessibility features have also been upgraded.

If you live in India and own a Galaxy M21, you can now get the Android 12 update by going to Settings » Software update and selecting Download and install. You can also manually flash the latest firmware file by downloading it from our database.
