Samsung is planning to release an affordable Galaxy A-Series Fold

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are probably among the greatest foldable phones available today. Samsung is entitled to charge a premium for these products since they are futuristic pieces of technology that required costly research and development. However, it appears that low-cost foldable phones are on the way. Samsung is working on a cheaper foldable phone in its Galaxy A series, according to a new rumour.

Is Samsung Galaxy Fold A-Series on the Way?

Samsung is rumoured to be working on a Galaxy A-series foldable, according to Twitter user @chunvn8888. Aside from that, the tweet has no information about the foldable’s features or pricing.

Another thing we know about the rumoured low-cost Galaxy A-series foldable is when it will be available, which may not be anytime soon. According to the source, the foldable could be released between 2024 and 2025. “Not happening that soon tho, 2024-2025. At least that’s when Samsung aiming to release…,” the Twitter tipster added.

Because the foldable belongs to the A-series, we should expect it to be less expensive than Samsung’s premium foldable competitors. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 was released at a beginning price of $999, while the Galaxy Z Fold 3 was released at a starting price of $1,799. If we had to guess, we’d say the Samsung Galaxy Fold A will cost between $699 and $799.

Meanwhile, Samsung is preparing to revamp its high-end foldable phones with the debut of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, both of which are anticipated to arrive in August.
