WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, will reportedly support up to 32 people in group voice calls in an effort to improve group calling.

Users will be able to engage in group voice calls with up to 32 individuals with version 22.8.80 of the app, according to 9To5Mac.

A revamped UI with a social audio layout, speaker spotlight, and waveforms are included in this release.

In addition, the voice message bubbles and data screens for contacts and groups have been changed in this latest version of WhatsApp for iOS. When accessing your favorite media in the gallery, there’s also a new change.

In the following months, the messaging platform will roll out a slew of new features, including Reactions, larger file sizes that users can transmit, a community function, and more.

The developers are preparing Reactions 2.0 for the desktop version, according to WABetaInfo. This means that users will be allowed to respond to messages with any emoji they desire in the future, according to the article. (IANS)
