Do you own Oneplus 8 or 8 pro or Oneplus 8T? then we have a piece of good news for you guys first Close beta files of ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 are now available for Oneplus 8, 8 pro & 8T.

What is Close beta?

Close betas updates are not recommended to everyone because these are only meant for testing & are only given to people who are a part of Close beta testing program, these updates can cause damage to the device & later device would not be considered under warranty & repair may be denied by the official. If you are trying to Install Close beta try at your own risk.

What is ColosOS 13 for Oneplus Smartphones?

ColorOS is a different operating system from Oneplus smartphones. In other countries except for China, every Oneplus smartphone gets OxygenOS but china doesn’t allow access to Google services in that country so Oneplus provides a different Operating System for China that does not come with google services & that’s called ColorOS. On a few Global smartphones of Oneplus, we can easily Install ColorOS with no issues.

How to Install ColorOS 13 on Oneplus 8, 8 pro & 8T?

• Make Sure the device is running OxygenOS 11 or ColorOS 12, If not here is a guide to Downgrade your device to OxygenOS  11 from OxygenOS 12: Video Guide
• Use these applications to downgrade Apk for Local update English version: Download from telegram // Mirror
• If the above app doesn’t work try the Oneplus local update app: Download from telegram
• To Install ColorOS 13 local update method will work fine.
• Download ColorOS 13 files for your particular device & Place that specific file in the root directory of Internal storage.
• After that go to the System update section – tap three dots and select local update – find the ColorOS 13 package and tap it – wait to finish the installation – tap reboot
• After the upgrade is complete, click Restart.
• Enjoy COLORSOS 13.
