Google Messages Set to Introduce AI-Generated Replies: What You Need to Know
Google is constantly updating its popular messaging app, Google Messages, to provide its users with better and more intuitive features. Recently, the company has hinted at a new feature that is currently in development: AI-generated replies.
The feature will allow users to respond to messages using AI technologies, which will enhance the chat experience and further improve the “replying to a text” method. The latest beta version of the app showcases a new sparkle icon in the composition box, indicating that the tool is still in the development stage.
While Google already offers the Smart Reply element, which enables users to send a brief reply to a text instantly, the AI-based technology promises to take things a step further. Firstly, it will limit the automated sent messages, allowing users to check the text once and alter it accordingly. Secondly, the feature may adopt clearer and more in-depth text responses in comparison to Smart Reply.
The AI-generated replies will provide users with more flexibility and control over their messages, allowing them to send more comprehensive and personalized responses. However, it is worth noting that the feature has only appeared in an APK file for the moment, and its existence in the stable version cannot be confirmed yet.
It remains to be seen how Google will incorporate AI-generated replies into the Messages app, but it is expected to make the app more effective and responsive for its users. With the promise of more advanced features on the horizon, Google Messages users can look forward to a more intuitive and user-friendly messaging experience.
