Nothing Phone (2) Press Renders Reveal Curved Back and Customizable Glyph Lights
Nothing, the innovative tech company founded by Carl Pei, has revealed press renders of its upcoming Nothing Phone (2), providing a closer look at its distinctive design and improved lighting features. The leaked images, posted by renowned tipster Evleaks, highlight the device’s rear design in both White and Grey color variants.
In contrast to previous CAD-based renders, the official press images reveal a slightly curved back, a flat frame, and a flat screen on the front. The Phone (2) retains its dual rear cameras, showcasing a departure from the curved frame depicted in the earlier renders.
One standout feature of the Phone (2) is the Glyph LED arrangement, which boasts a unique design and improved lighting capabilities. The centrally positioned Glyph lights are now divided into six separations, offering an enhanced visual experience. Furthermore, the device incorporates 33 addressable LED lighting zones, a substantial increase from the Phone (1)’s 12 zones. Notably, the top right section of the Glyph alone features 16 customizable lighting zones, allowing for personalized lighting effects.
The leaked renders also provide a glimpse of the phone’s hardware elements. The power button is located on the right side, while the volume rockers can be found on the left. The presence of antenna bands indicates an aluminum frame construction, ensuring durability and signal reception.
Additionally, the press renders showcase different themes tailored to the respective color variants of the Phone (2), along with various widgets, highlighting the device’s customization options.
Previously confirmed by Nothing, the Phone (2) boasts a spacious 6.7-inch screen, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The device is expected to offer powerful performance capabilities and seamless multitasking. Accompanying these features is a robust 4700mAh battery, providing ample power to keep users connected throughout the day.
