Nothing Phone (2) Surfaces on Geekbench with High-Performance Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC

The highly anticipated Nothing Phone (2) has made its way onto the Geekbench benchmarking platform, providing tech enthusiasts with a glimpse of its powerful specifications. Scheduled for launch on July 11, the smartphone’s appearance on Geekbench has confirmed the utilization of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a detail that had been officially announced by Carl Pei, the founder of Nothing, back in May. Pei had also previously explained the rationale behind the decision to incorporate this advanced chipset.

Nothing Phone (2) Geekbench Scores

The Geekbench listing indicates that the tested Nothing Phone (2) model runs on Android 13 and boasts 12GB of RAM. During the benchmark tests, the device achieved a respectable score of 1,733 in the single-core test and 4,207 in the multi-core test in its initial run. In another round of testing, it recorded 1,739 points in the single-core test and 3,983 points in the multi-core test.

Although Nothing has yet to disclose the complete specifications of the Phone (2), they have confirmed some key details about the upcoming device. The smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch display and be equipped with a 4,700mAh battery. In an effort to enhance sustainability, Nothing has also committed to providing three years of Android updates and four years of security updates for the Phone (2).
