Oppo Reno8 Series is Now Available – View Full Specifications and Pricing

Oppo, a popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has released the Oppo Reno 8 smartphone series in China. Reno8, Reno8 Pro, and Reno8 Pro+ are the models in the series. The Reno8 series includes three devices with similar designs and modest differences in specifications. The Oppo Reno8 series has been introduced as the successor to the Oppo Reno7 series from last year. Let’s have a look at the new Oppo Reno8 series’ specifications and cost.

Oppo Reno8 Series: Specifications

The Oppo Reno8 and Reno8 Pro variants came with a 6.43-inch screen with a punch-hole cutout in the top left corner. The Pro+ variant, on the other hand, has a larger 6.7-inch display with a punch in the centre. The manufacturer has used an AMOLED display on all three variations, and the screen has an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, with the exception of the base model, which has a 90Hz refresh rate.

Boosting the vanilla Oppo Reno8 is powered with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor. The Reno8 Pro variant is powered by the newly released Snapdragon 7 Gen1 processor, whereas the Pro+ model is outfitted with a Dimensity 8100-Max chipset. The processors in all of the devices are combined with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The handsets are powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W rapid charging.

When it comes to camera specifications, all variants have triple rear camera setups. The standard Reno8 has a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP secondary sensor, and a 2MP macro unit. The sole difference between the Pro and Pro+ models is the addition of an 8MP ultra-wide-angle secondary camera. The OPPO Reno 8 series is equipped with the brand’s MariSilicon X chip, which is supposed to provide next-generation photography capabilities. The smartphone includes a 32MP selfie camera on the front.

Oppo Reno8 Series: Price

In terms of cost, the Oppo Reno8 is available in three storage configurations: 8GB + 128GB for Yuan 2,499, 8GB + 256GB for Yuan 2,699, and 12GB + 256GB for Yuan 2,999. Reno8 Pro is available in the same configurations but costs Yuan 2,999, Yuan 3,199, and Yuan 3,499, respectively. The Reno8 Pro+, on the other hand, comes in only two configurations: 8GB + 256GB for $3,699 and 12GB + 256GB for $3,999.
