Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase Reportedly Set for February 2026, Promising Big Third-Party Reveals

Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase is reportedly making a return next week, according to fresh industry chatter. Nintendo is said to be preparing its first major Direct-style broadcast of 2026, and this time the spotlight will be on third-party developers bringing new titles to Nintendo platforms.
Nintendo Reportedly Planning February Partner Showcase

The event is reportedly planned as a Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, a format that highlights games from third-party publishers rather than Nintendo’s in-house studios. While Nintendo has not officially confirmed the presentation, the claim has generated considerable buzz among fans eagerly waiting for updates on upcoming Switch and Switch 2 titles.
What to Expect From the Partner Showcase

If the February 2026 presentation follows a similar pattern, viewers can expect announcements and updates from major third-party publishers, potentially including release dates, platform confirmations, and gameplay reveals for titles heading to both Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2.

Full Nintendo Direct Still Anticipated
While excitement around the Partner Showcase is building, many fans are still holding out for a full Nintendo Direct. Such an event would likely focus on first-party releases, including the next mainline Super Mario game rumored for 2026.
Nintendo last hosted a full Direct in December 2025, where it shared updates on Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, Donkey Kong Bananza, and the Super Mario Galaxy re-releases. Until Nintendo makes an official announcement, the February Partner Showcase remains unconfirmed—but anticipation continues to grow.

VITURE Beast XR Smart Glasses Redefine Portable XR Displays

VITURE Beast XR smart glasses are emerging as a powerful alternative to traditional monitors, TVs, and bulky VR headsets. Designed for users who want immersive visuals without sacrificing portability, the VITURE Beast XR smart glasses deliver a large virtual display experience in a compact, wearable form. With a simulated 174-inch screen, high brightness levels, and advanced 3D modes, these glasses aim to reshape how people consume content, play games, and work on the go.
Design and Comfort of VITURE Beast XR Smart Glasses
The VITURE Beast XR smart glasses feature a lightweight metal frame that balances durability with long-term comfort. One of the standout design elements is electrochromic dimming, allowing users to instantly adjust lens transparency. This makes the glasses suitable for both immersive XR sessions and real-world multitasking. A front-facing RGB camera enables spatial awareness and supports interactive XR functions, making the design practical for both entertainment and productivity.

Display Performance and Visual Quality
Display quality is where the VITURE Beast XR smart glasses truly shine. Powered by Sony display panels, the glasses deliver a crisp 1200p resolution with a 58-degree field of view. Brightness reaches up to 1200 nits, ensuring visibility even in well-lit environments. A planned firmware update will unlock a 120Hz refresh rate, further enhancing smooth motion for gaming and video playback.
VITURE Beast XR Smart Glasses for Content and 3D Viewing
For content consumption, the VITURE Beast XR smart glasses simulate a massive 174-inch virtual screen that feels natural and immersive. USB-C connectivity allows seamless use with smartphones, laptops, and handheld gaming devices. Through the SpaceWalker app, users can experience spatial videos, 3D photos, and even convert standard 2D content into 3D with adjustable depth controls.

Gaming, Audio, and Power Considerations
Gaming on the VITURE Beast XR smart glasses is smooth and responsive thanks to DisplayPort over USB-C support. With an optional dock, the glasses also work with devices like the Nintendo Switch. Harman-tuned audio delivers clear sound while minimizing fatigue. Since the glasses draw power from connected devices, extended sessions may require an external power source.

Final Verdict
The VITURE Beast XR smart glasses offer an impressive balance of performance, portability, and immersive visuals. While some advanced features depend on future firmware updates, the current experience already delivers strong value. For users seeking a portable XR display without the cost or bulk of high-end headsets, VITURE Beast XR smart glasses stand out as a compelling option.

iQOO 15 Ultra Delivers Powerful Gaming Upgrade With Touch-Based Shoulder Triggers

iQOO 15 Ultra is officially gearing up for its China launch next month, and fresh confirmations highlight a strong focus on mobile gaming. Positioned as the premium sibling to the standard iQOO 15, the upcoming flagship will debut before the Spring Festival and introduce advanced touch-based shoulder triggers with haptic feedback.
Touch-Based Shoulder Triggers Confirmed
The standout feature of the iQOO 15 Ultra is its capacitive shoulder triggers placed on both sides of the frame. According to company officials, these triggers are designed so that fingers can rest naturally while holding the phone in landscape mode. This setup aims to deliver better control and comfort during extended gaming sessions, similar to console controllers.

Advanced Mapping and High Sampling Rate
The shoulder triggers will support full button mapping, allowing users to customise controls, assign shortcuts, or create combo actions based on their preferences. The triggers are also expected to operate at a 600Hz sampling rate, ensuring faster input recognition and improved precision, which is crucial for competitive and fast-paced games.
Haptic Feedback and Anti-Sweat Technology
To enhance immersion, the iQOO 15 Ultra will feature haptic feedback powered by a linear motor. This provides tactile confirmation for each press, closely replicating the feel of physical buttons. Additionally, an anti-sweat algorithm will be used to maintain consistent touch accuracy even when hands get sweaty during intense gameplay.

Dual Independent Chips for Reduced Latency
Another major highlight is the use of dual independent control chips for the shoulder triggers. Each trigger will process inputs separately, helping minimise input delay and deliver faster response times. This approach is aimed at ensuring smooth and reliable performance during demanding gaming scenarios.
Colours, Performance and Launch Timeline
The iQOO 15 Ultra will launch in two colour options—2077 black and 2049 silver. Internal benchmark testing suggests impressive performance figures, with over 4.5 million points on AnTuTu, although the brand has clarified these are internal results. The smartphone is confirmed to launch in China in February, ahead of the Spring Festival.
