The Indian gaming community is in talks as the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 Grand Finals is just around the corner. Scheduled from October 12 to October 15, 2023, the event promises thrilling matches between India’s elite 16 squads. However, fans should note that there will be a break in the action on October 14 due to the cricket match between India and Pakistan.

BGIS 2023 Grand Finals Venue Details

The face-off between the top teams will take place at the renowned Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium in Mumbai from October 12 to October 15.

Match Format

Krafton has planned six matches every day during the Grand Finals. This event, the first official BGMI tournament of 2023, has a big prize pool of Rs 2 crore. From the semi-finals held from October 4 to 7, 16 squads emerged, ready for the Grand Finale. Furthermore, the top 8 squads from the Grand Finals will earn a spot in the BGMI India vs South Korea Invitational tournament.

Blind Esports BMPS 2023 Winner

Blind Esports has won the big Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) of 2023. This is a big win for them because they have been playing well all year but hadn’t won a big tournament until now. They played very well in the Pro Series and won Rs 40 lakh.

In the earlier rounds, Blind Esports came in second. They kept this up in the finals, starting in second place on the first day. On the second day, they played even better. By the third day, they were on top and stayed there. They finished the tournament with 249 points from 18 games. Spower from their team was the best player in the tournament.

Gladiator Esports also did really well, coming in second with 221 points. They started off okay, but got better and better. They were in second place by the second day and stayed there until the end.

Insane Esports got third place with 176 points. They were fifth at first, got better on the second day, and ended up third. Insane Aadi was named the best team leader in the tournament.

Entity Gaming, who were leading after the first day, ended up fourth. Team Soul, who many people like and who won last time, did much better on the third day and came in fifth with 158 points.

8BitXCS was sixth. Glitch Reborn, a team not many expected to do well, came in seventh. Numen Gaming finished ninth. Team XSpark, who looked good at first, ended up eleventh. Team Psyche was sixteenth.

This BMPS 2023 tournament was really exciting and showed how good the teams are at playing BGMI.

In an exciting turn of events at the BMPS 2023 Grand Finals, Blind Esports leaped to the forefront on Day 2. The team showed remarkable skill, accumulating a total of 176 points across 12 matches. Their focus is now set on maintaining this lead in the concluding matches tomorrow.

Close on their heels, Gladiators Esports climbed to second place, amassing 152 points with their improved gameplay. Team Insane, not far behind, seized third place with 125 points, thanks to their two outstanding victories, known as Chicken Dinners, on December 16, 2023.

Entity Gaming, previously a top contender, slipped to the fourth position with 123 points. Following them are Glitchx Reborn and Numen Gaming, securing their spots in the top ranks. Team XSpark also made a notable appearance, holding the seventh place. In contrast, Team Soul faced challenges and finished 12th with 60 points.

Match 7 (Erangel): Blind Esports kicked off the day with a dominant 28-point Chicken Dinner. Their IGL Manya played a crucial role with five eliminations. Team Soul also put up a strong fight, earning 19 points, while Gladiators Esports and Entity Gaming gathered 14 and 12 points respectively.

The BMPS 2023 Grand Finals kicked off with a bang, and at the end of Day 1 Entity Gaming has emerged as the leader with a whopping 75 points. Close behind, Blind Esports and Team XSpark showed consistent performance in their six matches, securing second and third places with 66 and 64 points, respectively.

Interestingly, none of the top three teams managed to win a Chicken Dinner on the opening day. However, Glitchx Reborn, considered an underdog team, surprised many by taking the fourth spot with 60 points, including one Chicken Dinner.

Team Insane, who topped the BMPS League Stage, ended the day in fifth place with 57 points. Gladiators Esports, known for winning the BGIS, came in sixth with 55 points. 8BitCS and Revenant earned the seventh and eighth spots with 51 and 46 points, respectively. Team Soul had an average day, accumulating only 27 points.
