BGMI 2.8 Update to Feature New Zombies Edge Mode, Says Krafton India
The gaming community is buzzing with excitement as Krafton India teases the latest BGMI 2.8 update for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). In a recent post on BGMI’s official Instagram, the developers shared a major highlight: the introduction of the Zombies Edge mode. This addition means the end of the ongoing Dragon Ball Super collaboration mode.
Well-known BGMI YouTubers, including Abhijeet “Ghatak”, Salman “Mamba”, Raj “Snax”, Yash “LoLzZz”, and host Nitin “Classified YT”, are all featured in the update’s teaser video. Through a BGMI 2.8 update podcast, they dove into the exciting changes the Zombies Edge mode will bring to BGMI.
They highlighted how the Miramar map will get the new mode. This move is expected to help players, especially rank pushers, climb to higher tiers swiftly. The YouTubers also detailed features of the Zombies Edge map like the Aerolith Lab, Zombies Area, and various abilities players can harness. These abilities will aid in dealing damage, taking down zombies, and collecting valuable loot.
In addition to discussing the new mode, these BGMI personalities revealed a special upcoming login event. Players can earn exclusive rewards for logging in on eight consecutive days. Even if a player misses a day, they have the option to use BP and claim the reward the next day.
Mamba and Snax also shared another exciting tidbit. The BGMI 2.8 update will include a variety of new crates, set to enhance player inventories significantly.
The exact release date for the BGMI 2.8 update remains under wraps. Krafton has yet to make an official announcement. However, given that the teaser and announcement videos are public, many anticipate the update to drop sometime next week.

- Clone Your Character: Players can use a grenade-like object to clone their character, creating opportunities to misguide enemies and catch them off guard.
- Sky Tether Hook: Harnessing the power of a Sky Tether Hook, players can climb buildings and compounds swiftly, reminiscent of the iconic Spiderman grapple ability.
- Glider Ability: Introducing a glider feature, players can cover large distances quickly using the glide ability.
- Character Improvements: Various character attributes enhancements include increased movement speed, reduced fall damage, and more.
- New Recall Island Feature: Players eliminated early in the match will find themselves on Recall Island. Here, they must look for a specific location, press a button, and earn a chance to respawn back into the main match.
While the official release date for the BGMI 3.0 update remains undisclosed, speculations suggest it will be released after the conclusion of the current 2.9 update.

Blind Esports has won the big Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) of 2023. This is a big win for them because they have been playing well all year but hadn’t won a big tournament until now. They played very well in the Pro Series and won Rs 40 lakh.
In the earlier rounds, Blind Esports came in second. They kept this up in the finals, starting in second place on the first day. On the second day, they played even better. By the third day, they were on top and stayed there. They finished the tournament with 249 points from 18 games. Spower from their team was the best player in the tournament.

Gladiator Esports also did really well, coming in second with 221 points. They started off okay, but got better and better. They were in second place by the second day and stayed there until the end.
Insane Esports got third place with 176 points. They were fifth at first, got better on the second day, and ended up third. Insane Aadi was named the best team leader in the tournament.
Entity Gaming, who were leading after the first day, ended up fourth. Team Soul, who many people like and who won last time, did much better on the third day and came in fifth with 158 points.
8BitXCS was sixth. Glitch Reborn, a team not many expected to do well, came in seventh. Numen Gaming finished ninth. Team XSpark, who looked good at first, ended up eleventh. Team Psyche was sixteenth.
This BMPS 2023 tournament was really exciting and showed how good the teams are at playing BGMI.

Team XSpark also made a notable appearance, holding the seventh place. In contrast, Team Soul faced challenges and finished 12th with 60 points.
