Rumors Suggest iPhone 16 to Feature Revamped Camera Bump Design, Battery Change

Do you remember last year in one of our posts, we covered that the front camera design of the upcoming iPhone 16 series (except 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max) is expected to come with a vertical layout instead of a diagonal layout which we have already seen in iPhone 11 and iPhone 12. It is also expected to come with a slim camera bump.
But there is a twist. New renders of the iPhone 16 by @MajinBuOfficial x @upintheozone suggest that along with a vertical layout, we have a pill-shaped camera island which we have already seen in iPhone X. On the camera island, we have two sensors for Wide and Ultrawide camera sensors with an LED flash on the side.

Apple Hub has also shared renders of the expected color options of the iPhone 16 along with a side comparison with the iPhone 16 Pro. The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are suggested to have come with the same design that we have already seen in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The rumors suggested that the reason behind redesigning the camera of iPhone 16 is that we can record spatial video which is later played on Apple’s new headset i.e. Apple Vision Pro.

On the front side, we have not seen any new changes. As per leaks, iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 + are expected to come with a 60 Hz display as usual. The same USB-C port on the bottom of the phone as like iPhone 15 series.
But if we talk about the new add-ons in iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 +, then as per rumors, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 + are expected to be coming with an Action Button which we see in the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max as like we saw Dynamic Island in the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 + this year instead of notch.
No Capacitive Capture Button in iPhone 16 series
Do you remember the capture button whose codename was Project Nova? The latest information by MacRumors suggested that this button will not be available in the iPhone 16 series. Previously, MacRumors mentioned in one of their posts that this capacitive action button will feature a force sensor with the functionality of “tact-switching”. Also, the location of the capture button was said to be located on the side of the mmWave cutout on the iPhone models (available in the U.S.). This mmWave antenna will be moved to the phone’s left side with the new iPhone 16 (in the U.S.). But as of now, Apple has dropped the initial idea of adding a Capacitive Capture Button in the iPhone 16 Lineup.
iPhone 16 Series Battery and Action Button in iPhone 16 and iPhone 16+
Until the iPhone 15 series, Apple used an L-shaped battery design in their iPhones. Still, Majin Bu, an X user claims that Apple will use a regular rectangular battery in the upcoming iPhone 16 Lineup. Now, let’s talk about the battery mAh of the upcoming iPhone 16 Lineup.
Battery mAh in iPhone 16 Series:
| iPhone 15 Series | iPhone 16 Series | % Change | |
| Standard | 3,349 mAh | 3,561 mAh | +6% |
| Plus | 4,383 mAh | 4,006 mAh | -9% |
| Pro Max | 4,422 mAh | 4,676 mAh | +5% |
Till now, the tipster Bu has not revealed any information regarding the iPhone 16 Pro’s battery. Also, till now it’s unclear why the battery of the iPhone 16 + has been shrunk if we compare it with the iPhone 15 + battery.
If anyone among you guys knows more leaks about the upcoming iPhone 16 Lineup, then do let us know in the comment box. Also, tell us whether you like this post or not.
Note: The above-listed information is based on the early designs, it may or may not be changed as we know the iPhone 16 Series launch will be too far.

iOS 26.5 Beta 1: Apple Begins Testing New Features Ahead of Next iPhone Update

iOS 26.5 Beta 1 has officially been released by Apple Inc. for developers, just days after the public rollout of iOS 26.4. The latest beta update signals Apple’s continued focus on refining its ecosystem, with early groundwork for several features expected to evolve in upcoming releases.
What’s New in iOS 26.5 Beta 1
One of the key highlights in iOS 26.5 Beta 1 is the introduction of enhancements related to Rich Communication Services (RCS). Apple appears to be working on improving encryption standards for RCS messaging, which could significantly boost privacy and security for cross-platform conversations in the future.
Another notable development is the backend support for advertisements within Apple Maps. While not yet visible to users, this feature suggests that Apple may be preparing to introduce promoted listings or search ads within its navigation app, potentially opening a new revenue stream.
The update also includes improvements aimed at better compatibility with third-party wearable devices, particularly in regions like the European Union. This move aligns with regulatory requirements and indicates Apple’s gradual shift toward a more open ecosystem.
No Major Siri Upgrade Yet
Despite growing expectations around artificial intelligence advancements, iOS 26.5 Beta 1 does not introduce any major updates to Siri. Users anticipating significant AI-driven changes may need to wait for future updates or announcements later this year.
Early Impressions
As expected from an initial beta release, iOS 26.5 Beta 1 is primarily focused on under-the-hood improvements rather than user-facing features. Developers testing the update may uncover additional changes over time, but for now, the update appears to be a stepping stone for more substantial enhancements in upcoming beta versions.
For general users, it may be advisable to wait for a stable release, as early beta builds can include bugs and performance issues.

iOS 27 Siri AI Upgrade: Apple to Add Third-Party Chatbot Support

iOS 27 Siri AI Upgrade: Apple to Add Third-Party Chatbot Support
iOS 27 Siri AI upgrade is shaping up to be one of the most significant changes in Apple’s voice assistant strategy. According to recent reports, Apple is planning to introduce support for third-party AI chatbots within Siri, allowing users to choose how they interact with artificial intelligence on their iPhones.
A Major Shift for Siri
For years, Siri has been limited to Apple’s own ecosystem and capabilities. However, with iOS 27, Apple is expected to introduce a new “extensions” system that will enable integration with external AI tools such as ChatGPT and potentially other advanced conversational platforms.
This means users may no longer be restricted to a single AI assistant. Instead, they could select different AI services based on their needs, whether it is productivity, creativity, or general queries.
What This Means for Users
The upcoming update could dramatically improve how people use their iPhones daily. By allowing third-party AI integration, Siri could become more flexible, accurate, and context-aware. Users might be able to assign different AI models for specific tasks, such as writing emails, summarizing content, or answering complex questions.
This move also aligns with the growing competition in the AI space, where companies are racing to deliver smarter and more adaptable assistants.
Apple’s AI Strategy Is Evolving
Apple has traditionally taken a controlled approach to software and services. Opening Siri to third-party chatbots signals a shift toward a more open AI ecosystem. It also suggests that Apple is prioritizing user choice and advanced capabilities over maintaining a closed system.
If implemented well, this feature could position Siri as a central hub for AI interactions rather than just a standalone assistant.
Final Thoughts
The iOS 27 update could redefine the role of Siri on iPhones. By embracing third-party AI tools, Apple is taking a step toward making its devices more intelligent and user-centric. While official confirmation is still awaited, this development highlights Apple’s increasing focus on artificial intelligence and its future potential.

One of the biggest highlights is the ability to use multiple accounts on a single iPhone. This feature eliminates the need for carrying two devices or logging in and out repeatedly. Users can now switch between personal and professional accounts seamlessly within the app, making communication more streamlined.
Another key improvement focuses on storage management. WhatsApp now allows users to identify and delete large files without removing entire chats. This ensures that important conversations remain intact while freeing up valuable storage space. The feature is especially useful for users who frequently exchange media files like videos and images.
The platform has also enhanced its chat transfer capabilities. Moving chats between Android and iPhone devices is now more accessible and reliable. This cross-platform functionality ensures that users can switch devices without losing their chat history, a long-standing concern for many.
In addition, Meta is integrating AI-powered tools into WhatsApp. These include smart reply suggestions and basic photo editing features within chats. Such additions aim to improve user experience by making conversations quicker and more interactive.
Overall, these updates highlight WhatsApp’s continued focus on user convenience and functionality. By addressing common pain points like storage limitations, account management, and data transfer, the app strengthens its position as a leading messaging platform.
