TENNA Certification Provides First Look at Upcoming Vivo Y Series Smartphone
The upcoming vivo Y series smartphone has been certified by the Chinese regulatory authority, TENNA, revealing some of its key specifications and images. The model number of the phone is V2278A and it is expected to be a mid-range device with some impressive features.
According to the certification, the vivo Y series smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor and will come with 12GB of RAM. The phone will have a 6.64-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2388×1080 pixels. It will also feature an 8MP selfie camera and a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor.
The phone will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and will be backed by a 5000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. It will be 7.98mm thick and weigh around 190g.
While there is no official word from vivo on the launch date or pricing of the Y series smartphone, the certification indicates that the launch may be imminent. The vivo Y series has been known for delivering value for money devices with a great balance of features and price, and the new device is expected to follow in that tradition.
