All things considered, the primary Android 11 Developer Preview was delivered back in February of 2020. So, we can expect the release of the first Android 12 Developer Preview in February 2021.

XDA Developers have managed to scour the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) Gerrit for traces of new highlights going to the following variant of Android, and have spotted proof that Google is dealing with an application hibernation including for Android 12.

In view of several code changes submitted to AOSP, Google is adding another application hibernation framework administration “that oversees application hibernation express, state applications can enter that implies they are not being effectively utilized and can be advanced for capacity.”

It is been speculated that application hibernation will be programmed like the auto-repudiating consents highlight presented in Android 11 and that advancement includes the pressure of the APK and other application assets.

Once we learn more about this app hibernation service or any other features coming to Android 12, we’ll share that information.
