Currently, OnePlus devices offer users the option to set their smartphone screen refresh rate to either High (120Hz) or Standard (60Hz) through the device settings.

However, Ashok Mor recently highlighted a new feature which is a custom refresh rate setting option for individual apps. This allows users to assign a specific refresh rate to a chosen app. This feature is exclusive to the OnePlus 11 running ColorOS 14, as you can see in the screenshot available in the below tweet.

There is growing anticipation that this feature might be coming into the OxygenOS 14 update. If this feature comes with OnePlus devices running the OxygenOS 14 update, this improvement could prove to be even more beneficial than the existing settings.

Nothing Phone 2 May Update

Recently, the Nothing Phone (2a) and Nothing Phone (2) received the May 2025 Nothing OS 3.0 update. This update introduced some useful features like Private Space, different passwords for App Lock, and a Hotspot Manager.

These features were already available on the CMF Phone 2 Pro and Nothing Phone 3a series, which run on Nothing OS 3.2 and 3.1.

However, many users noticed that the Hotspot Manager feature is missing on the Nothing Phone (2), even though it was expected. This has led to confusion and disappointment, especially since users have been requesting this feature for a long time.

Now, all eyes are on Nothing to see if they will release another update soon to bring the Hotspot Manager to the Nothing Phone (2). If not, users may have to wait until the next scheduled security update in July 2025.
