Samsung, a frontrunner in the tech arena, is known for its vast Galaxy ecosystem. By seamlessly establishing connections between these devices, the company ensures Galaxy users can interact efficiently across their gadget range. Taking it a step further, Samsung is now strengthening ties between different platforms, prominently with Windows.

The “Link to Windows” feature is the latest feather in Samsung’s cap. Available in an array of Galaxy devices, this innovative capability empowers users to manage their phones directly from their PCs. Activities like making calls, handling notifications, operating apps, texting, viewing recent photos, and even drag-and-drop of files between devices are now made simpler.

However, for users to make the most of these advanced features, some prerequisites need to be met:

  • The Windows 10 PC should have received at least the 2020 update.
  • The PC needs to possess a minimum of 8GB RAM.
  • The Galaxy device should be operating on Android 11 or a newer version.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 showcasing the new One UI 8 update based on Android 16

Samsung One UI 8 update has officially started rolling out for the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Galaxy M36, and Galaxy F36, bringing Android 16 and a refreshed user experience. This long-awaited update marks a major milestone for Samsung users, especially those using the company’s 4th Gen foldables. According to reports from SamMobile and several user posts on Samsung’s community forums, the update is already live in select regions across Asia, Africa, and Europe.

For the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, the software versions are F936BXXUAIYIF and F721BXXUAIYIF, respectively. These builds come bundled with the October 2025 security patch, ensuring the devices are protected with the latest security improvements. The update size is approximately 3 GB, so users are advised to use a Wi-Fi connection for a smoother installation. To download it, head to Settings → Software Update → Download and Install.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy M36 and Galaxy F36 have also begun receiving their One UI 8 update with build numbers E366BXXU2BYI4 and F936BXXUAIYIF, though these models feature the September security patch. Despite this, users are still gaining access to the complete Android 16 experience with all of Samsung’s latest software features.

The One UI 8 update brings several notable enhancements, including a redesigned Samsung Internet browser, smoother multitasking capabilities, and an upgraded Samsung DeX for improved productivity on external displays. Additionally, the Reminders and Calendar apps have received major interface improvements, making task management and scheduling more intuitive. Samsung has also refined its Health app, introduced new accessibility options, and optimized animations for a more fluid and responsive interface.

For those who enjoy customization, One UI 8 also delivers new wallpaper effects, enhanced lock screen widgets, and improved integration with Galaxy AI features. Overall, this update makes the experience on Samsung’s foldables and mid-range phones feel faster, smarter, and more cohesive.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S25 FE in India after unveiling it internationally earlier this month. The company confirmed that the phone will be available in India starting September 29.

The Galaxy S25 FE is priced the same as its predecessor at launch. The 128GB model costs Rs 59,999, the 256GB model costs Rs 65,999, and the 512GB version is priced at Rs 77,999.

As part of a limited-time offer, Samsung is giving buyers a free storage upgrade. Customers who pay Rs 65,999 will get the 512GB variant instead of the 256GB one. However, this upgrade does not apply to the 128GB version.

In India, the Galaxy S25 FE will be available in Navy, Jet Black, and White colour options. Unfortunately, the Icy Blue colour won’t be offered in the country.

Key Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE comes with a 6.7-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution (1080 × 2340 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,900 nits peak brightness.

It is powered by the Exynos 2400 processor paired with 8GB RAM. The phone features a triple rear camera setup that includes:

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra to Feature Bigger Screen, Smarter S Pen

Samsung Galaxy S6 Ultra Concept

Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 Ultra ealier this year, and it’s already a powerful flagship. But if you’re planning to upgrade, it might be a good idea to wait for the next one, the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Early leaks suggest it could bring some major improvements in performance, display, and camera.

One of the expected changes is in the display design. Samsung might make the screen slightly taller, increasing it from 6.86 inches to 6.9 inches by reducing the bezels around it. The company could also switch to a more advanced screen technology called CoE OLED (Color Filter of Encapsulation). This upgrade could not only make the display thinner but also improve power efficiency.

Another major improvement could be with the S Pen stylus. Many users have complained about magnetic interference when using accessories with the S Pen. Even though the Galaxy S25 Ultra supports the Qi2 wireless charging standard, magnets in third-party cases sometimes trigger warning messages. With the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Samsung might finally solve this problem by adding built-in magnets, similar to what Apple does with its iPhones.

If these rumors turn out to be true, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could be a big step forward. So, if you can wait a little longer, it might be worth it.
