According to these changelogs, we could see some features, improvements, and changes adapted from the Nothing OS 2.5 Open Beta 2 update for Phone (2). There are some changelogs mentioned about the Glyph progress feature which was made for the Phone (2).

But for sure, this feature won’t work on Phone (1) because it does not have progress bar hardware on the back of the phone apart from the charging indicator which shows the status of the battery percentage. There is a charging indicator LED light where this feature could be implemented, but for now but we have confirmation that this feature is missing in the settings from a user who has installed Nothing OS 2.5.1 CBT1 on his device.

Previously, the hands-on images of the upcoming Nothing Phone (2a) have been revealed on Reddit along with the specifications. Now, we have the first look at the back design of the Nothing Phone (2a) which was the press render posted by Smartprix in partnership with leakster Onleaks.

Specifications of Nothing Phone (2a)

Before talking about the back design of the design, let’s discuss the specifications along with the previous hands-on images. The above image confirmed that there is no glyph interface. However, the company’s branding along with the CE certification details are visible on the bottom (left and right) side of the back panel. The reason behind the cut-off of the glyph interface can be differentiated between the Nothing Phone number series and the Nothing Phone (a) series (budget series from Nothing).

At last, if we talk about the expected price of Nothing (2a), then the expected price of the Phone (2a) will be in the range of $400/€400/INR30K.
