BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) made a triumphant return to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store on May 29, much to the delight of mobile gaming enthusiasts. The game was initially relaunched on Android devices, followed by its availability on iOS devices.
Krafton, the developer of BGMI, recently released version 2.5 of the game, introducing several new features and improvements. However, one notable absence in this update is the support for 90 FPS gameplay on Android devices, unlike on iOS devices, where it is available for all iPhones which support it.
OnePus 11R User Requests BGMI 90 FPS Support
The OnePlus community member shared the response they received from BGMI regarding 90 FPS support for the OnePlus 11R:
Thank you for contacting BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA Player Support. We apologize for the delay in response. We understand your concern regarding the 90 fps on your device.
We would like to inform you that we will check and request the team to expand support to more devices. We appreciate your understanding in this regard and suggest you stay tuned to the official sources for more updates!Mandy g, Battlegrounds mobile india Player support
BGMI 2.6 Update May Bring 90 FPS Support
Presently, no OnePlus devices, including the OnePlus 11R, support 90 FPS gameplay on BGMI 2.5. However, in the recently launched PUBG Mobile 2.6 version, 90 FPS functionality is available on OnePlus 11 and various other smartphones.
While several other brands with powerful processors can play PUBG Mobile Global at 90 FPS, Krafton has limited this feature in the current BGMI 2.5 update. It is reasonable to assume that when the BGMI 2.6 update arrives, 90 FPS support will be extended to all Android devices.
Mobile gaming enthusiasts eagerly anticipate further updates from Krafton regarding the expansion of 90 FPS support, as it enhances the gameplay experience by providing smoother graphics and more responsive controls.

Recent leaks by the popular YouTuber ClassifiedYT have sparked excitement among BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) enthusiasts, suggesting that the BGMI 3.0 update is expected to be released around January 25, 2024.
One of the standout features in the BGMI 3.0 update is the introduction of the Shadow Force mode, playable in three iconic maps – Erangel, Livik, and Sanhok. Within these maps, specific locations such as Georgopol, Yasnaya Polyana, and Prison will host the Shadow Force mode. Notably, players eliminated in the Shadow Force mode will enjoy an automatic respawn in the same location.
Here’s a sneak peek at some key features expected in the BGMI 3.0 update:
- Shadow Force Mode: Available in Erangel, Livik, and Sanhok maps, this mode promises intense gameplay with unique twists at some specific locations.
- Katana or Machete Sword: A new weapon that allows players to deflect enemy bullets, adding a strategic layer to combat scenarios.
- Healing Update: Drivers of vehicles can now use healing supplies while driving.
- Increased Bullet Penetration: Bullets fired at enemies standing behind others will now inflict damage on both.
- Clone Your Character: Players can use a grenade-like object to clone their character, creating opportunities to misguide enemies and catch them off guard.
- Sky Tether Hook: Harnessing the power of a Sky Tether Hook, players can climb buildings and compounds swiftly, reminiscent of the iconic Spiderman grapple ability.
- Glider Ability: Introducing a glider feature, players can cover large distances quickly using the glide ability.
- Character Improvements: Various character attributes enhancements include increased movement speed, reduced fall damage, and more.
- New Recall Island Feature: Players eliminated early in the match will find themselves on Recall Island. Here, they must look for a specific location, press a button, and earn a chance to respawn back into the main match.
While the official release date for the BGMI 3.0 update remains undisclosed, speculations suggest it will be released after the conclusion of the current 2.9 update.
