Nothing OS 1.5 Open Beta (Android 13) Program Begins For Selected Nothing Phone (1) Users
Nothing company has begun the Android 13-based Nothing OS 1.5 open beta program for Nothing Phone (1) selected users. Two weeks ago, they announced open beta registration where Phone (1) users have to submit some information along with their IMEI number to get into the Android 13 open beta testing.
As per information from our telegram group we got to know that majority of Nothing phone (1) users who registered for the open beta testing got a sorry email from Nothing company. We can assume that the company has only a selected bunch of users like 50 or 100 for the Android 13 open beta testing. It’s the same as a closed beta and this is really disappointing for the users who were eagerly waiting for the Nothing OS 1.5 update.
But some users have received approval mail from the company that he or she has been chosen to take part in the first open beta program. Nothing has also mentioned three points before installing the update.
- This is beta software and not the final update, it could be unstable for the device.
- Also, they especially mentioned Netflix and Google Pay where users may not be able to use these apps.
- If you want to downgrade to Android 12 due to some reasons, you can simply use ADB commands to flash the device with help of a computer.
Currently, Nothing company hasn’t rolled out any update yet. Before that they are asking for some additional information to fill in the form for the last time after that they will send upgrade instructions to the users for Nothing OS 1.5.
Carl Pei also mentioned on his Twitter it will be a gradual rollout.
The user might have to wait for some more days for the Android 13 update for Nothing Phone (1) as the company responded with an unusual message where they mentioned an “overwhelming response” for the Open Beta Program.
