nothing phone 1 green line problem

Two users of the Nothing Phone (1) have recently reported a green line issue on their displays. One user shared three photos that show a straight green line on the right side of the screen, from top to bottom. This green line appears on top of the actual interface and is visible everywhere. According to the user, it’s a hardware issue that cannot be fixed and the company should provide a display replacement if the phone is still under warranty.

Another user faced a similar issue last month and reached out to the company through Twitter. The Nothing company responded to the user’s tweet a day later, saying “Thank you for reaching out to us. Please check your inbox for our detailed response.” It’s unclear whether the company provided a resolution to the issue.

Nothing Phone (1) joins list of brands facing display problems

It’s worth noting that this issue is not unique to the Nothing Phone (1). Other brands like OnePlus, Samsung, and Xiaomi have also faced similar problems with their AMOLED and OLED displays. With Nothing Phone (1) joining the list, it’s difficult to say which brand is the most reliable when it comes to display issues.

If you are a user of the Nothing Phone (1) and experience a green line issue on your display, it’s recommended that you visit the service center immediately. If your phone is still under warranty, you may be eligible for a display replacement.

Nothing Service Centre Bengaluru

Nothing the UK tech startup led by Founder Carl Pei opened its first service centre in Bengaluru. This service centre promises product repairs in just two hours. They plan to open four more in the next few months. The goal is to have 35 centres in India by 2025.

Before the launch of the Nothing Phone (2) in July the company had shared plans to open their first service centre in August. Now it’s open on 100 Feet Road in Indira Nagar.

Customers who visit the service centre can get quick support for their Nothing products. This was reported by the Indian Express and mentioned by Nothing’s Vice President Manu Sharma. They aim to fix products in two hours. If repairs take longer they’ll give customers another device to use. Fun fact: customers can play arcade games like Pac-Man while they wait.

The Indira Nagar service centre will also offer discounts on repairs on the second weekend of every month. Like Apple’s free sessions in its stores there will be tech workshops in the service centre.

Nothing India officially announced this on their X profile (previously known as Twitter).

After Bengaluru the company plans to open centres in Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. They revealed this plan in July. They will open 15 more centres next year. The aim is to reach 35 centres by 2025.
