The teasers have given us a taste of what the Nothing Phone (1) will be like. The phone’s back will be completely transparent, allowing us to see the interior components. Nothing also unveiled Nothing OS, an Android overlay with a simple design style and no pre-installed apps or bloatware. In reality, the Nothing OS experience is available as a Nothing launcher on Android devices.

According to leaks and rumours, the Nothing Phone (1) will have a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and exceptionally small and consistent bezels all around the screen. The Snapdragon 778G chipset is rumoured to be used in the phone, however, some speculate that the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip may also be used.

Nothing has yet provided three years of OS upgrades and four years of security support, which isn’t the best in the business but certainly among the best. On the back, the phone is rumoured to have a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, with a 32MP sensor on the front.

All of this will be powered by a 4500mAh battery, with wireless charging technology rumoured to be included. What remains to be seen is whether Nothing gets ahead of Apple and removes the charging port of Phone (1). That seemed improbable, given the EU’s need for USB-C chargers on smartphones.
