OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Review: Big Bass, Strong ANC and Excellent Battery Life at Rs 3,299

Published

on

OnePlus Nord Buds 4 in Astral Teal held in a hand with the charging case open, showcasing the earbuds against a clean background.

OnePlus Nord Buds 4 review starts with one clear takeaway: these earbuds are built to impress budget buyers who want strong bass, effective noise cancellation, and long battery life without spending too much. Priced at around Rs 3,299, the Nord Buds 4 aim to be one of the most balanced TWS options in the under-Rs 3,500 segment.

OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Review: Design and Comfort

OnePlus has kept the design familiar, but that is not a bad thing. The case feels solid, the Astral Teal color looks premium, and each earbud weighs just 4.3g, which helps during long listening sessions. The earbuds also carry an IP55 rating, making them suitable for workouts, daily commute, and light rain.

Better Bass and Immersive Sound

The biggest upgrade this time is the sound. The bass is noticeably punchier and deeper than before, while vocals still remain clean and clear. The earbuds also support 3D spatial audio, which adds more width to music and movies. The only small drawback is that the treble can feel a little sharp at higher volume, especially in busy tracks.

ANC, Gaming, Calls and Battery Life

The active noise cancellation is another major highlight. OnePlus claims up to 52dB real-time ANC, and in everyday use it works well in places like offices, cafes, and travel. For gaming, the 47ms low-latency mode helps keep audio and visuals in sync, while Bluetooth 6.1 keeps the connection stable. Call quality is also strong, thanks to six microphones with AI noise cancellation.

Battery life is equally impressive. OnePlus claims up to 54 hours of total playback, and even a quick charge gives useful backup for hours of use. The earbuds also support features like Google Fast Pair, dual-device connection, translation tools, Spotify Tap, custom controls, and equalizer options.

Final Verdict

OnePlus Nord Buds 4 review ends on a strong note. These are well-balanced budget earbuds with good bass, decent ANC, reliable gaming performance, and solid battery life. The treble could be smoother, but that is a minor issue compared to the overall package. For Rs 3,299, they look like one of the smartest buys in the budget TWS category.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro Could Power Flagships With Massive 10,000mAh Batteries

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro smartphones could soon redefine battery life in the flagship segment. A new leak suggests that Qualcomm’s upcoming premium chipset may be paired with huge 10,000mAh batteries, offering users a completely different flagship experience focused on endurance and gaming performance.

According to recent reports, a next-generation flagship device powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro is currently under testing. The leaked information points toward a device aimed at gaming enthusiasts and power users who demand long battery backup, high refresh rate displays, and advanced cooling systems.

Large Battery Phones May Become the Next Trend

The report claims that the prototype device features a massive 10,000mAh battery, which is significantly larger than what most flagship smartphones currently offer. While premium phones today usually stay between 5,000mAh and 6,000mAh, this upcoming device could nearly double that capacity.

Such a large battery could provide multi-day battery life for regular users and extended gaming sessions for mobile gamers. This move also reflects a growing industry trend where brands are focusing more on battery endurance instead of ultra-thin designs.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro Specifications Expected

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset is rumored to be based on an advanced 2nm process, which may improve both power efficiency and overall performance. The device being tested reportedly includes:

  • 185Hz 2K display
  • Active cooling fan
  • High-end gaming optimization
  • Large vapor chamber cooling system
  • 10,000mAh battery

The combination of an efficient chipset and a huge battery could make these devices ideal for gaming, streaming, and heavy multitasking.

Gaming Smartphone Brands Could Lead the Launch

While the leak does not reveal the exact smartphone brand, industry speculation points toward gaming-focused companies such as RedMagic or iQOO. These brands are already known for experimenting with advanced cooling technologies and large battery capacities.

If the leak turns out to be accurate, upcoming flagship gaming phones may start competing directly with handheld gaming consoles in terms of battery life and sustained performance.

Final Thoughts

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro could mark a major shift in flagship smartphone design. Instead of prioritizing slim profiles, manufacturers may now focus on delivering longer battery life and improved thermal management for gamers and power users.

Although official confirmation is still pending, the early details already suggest that the next generation of Android flagships could become more powerful and practical than ever before.

Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase Reportedly Set for February 2026, Promising Big Third-Party Reveals

Nintendo Switch 2 console being placed into its dock with Joy-Con controllers attached

Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase is reportedly making a return next week, according to fresh industry chatter. Nintendo is said to be preparing its first major Direct-style broadcast of 2026, and this time the spotlight will be on third-party developers bringing new titles to Nintendo platforms.

Nintendo Reportedly Planning February Partner Showcase

According to well-known industry insider NateTheHate, Nintendo is expected to host a Direct livestream sometime during the opening week of February. In a recent video focused on predictions around the Nintendo Switch 2, the insider suggested that the broadcast could take place on Thursday, February 5, citing sources familiar with Nintendo’s internal plans.

The event is reportedly planned as a Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, a format that highlights games from third-party publishers rather than Nintendo’s in-house studios. While Nintendo has not officially confirmed the presentation, the claim has generated considerable buzz among fans eagerly waiting for updates on upcoming Switch and Switch 2 titles.

What to Expect From the Partner Showcase

Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase events are typically shorter than full Direct presentations and focus entirely on externally developed games. The most recent Partner Showcase aired in July 2025 and featured several high-profile announcements, including Star Wars Outlaws, Cronos: The New Dawn, Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza Kiwami 2, and Octopath Traveler 0, all showcased for Nintendo’s next-generation hardware.

If the February 2026 presentation follows a similar pattern, viewers can expect announcements and updates from major third-party publishers, potentially including release dates, platform confirmations, and gameplay reveals for titles heading to both Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2.

Full Nintendo Direct Still Anticipated

While excitement around the Partner Showcase is building, many fans are still holding out for a full Nintendo Direct. Such an event would likely focus on first-party releases, including the next mainline Super Mario game rumored for 2026.

Nintendo last hosted a full Direct in December 2025, where it shared updates on Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, Donkey Kong Bananza, and the Super Mario Galaxy re-releases. Until Nintendo makes an official announcement, the February Partner Showcase remains unconfirmed—but anticipation continues to grow.
