Vivo X100 Live image on hands

A photo of the new Vivo X100 has been shared on the internet. A user on Weibo posted the back view of the Vivo X100. The smartphone is set to be released later in November.

The smartphone in the picture has light blue shade, similar to what was seen in earlier leaked images. However, the live photo shows that the detailed, shiny pattern on the back is not as clear as the leaks suggested. The shape and design of the back glass do match the leaked images.

The camera setup on the back of the smartphone looks like what people expected. But there’s something new, there is a bright white ring around one of the primary cameras. The previous leaked pictures did not show this ring. It might just be a reflection of the circle light right in front of the smartphone.

With the official release of the Vivo X100 series set for November 13, fans won’t have to rely on leaks and guesses much longer.

Vivo T5x 5G smartphone featuring MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset with 1 million plus AnTuTu score

Vivo T5x is gearing up to make a strong impact in the mid-range smartphone segment with its headline-grabbing specifications, including a massive 7200mAh battery and the powerful Dimensity 7400 Turbo chipset. The upcoming device is positioned to attract users who prioritize long battery life and smooth performance without stretching their budget.

Massive Battery and Performance Boost

One of the biggest highlights of the Vivo T5x is its 7200mAh battery, which is expected to be the largest in its segment. This could easily translate to up to two days of usage on a single charge, addressing one of the most common concerns among smartphone users. Whether it is gaming, streaming, or regular daily tasks, the battery capacity promises extended endurance without frequent charging.

Complementing this is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor, designed to deliver fast and efficient performance. Early claims suggest the device could achieve benchmark scores exceeding one million on AnTuTu, placing it among the top performers in its price category. This combination of power and efficiency makes the Vivo T5x appealing for both casual users and mobile gamers.

Durability and Competitive Edge

In addition to performance and battery, the Vivo T5x is expected to feature IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering protection against dust and water. This is a rare inclusion in the mid-range category and adds significant value for users seeking durability.

With aggressive specifications and expected competitive pricing under Rs 25,000, the Vivo T5x could disrupt the current mid-range market. It directly challenges other brands by offering a balanced package of battery life, performance, and durability.

Overall, the Vivo T5x appears to be designed for users who want a reliable smartphone that can handle intensive usage without compromise. If Vivo delivers on its promises, this device could quickly become one of the most sought-after options in its segment.

Vivo iQOO Price Increase: Smartphone Costs Set to Rise Amid Chip Shortage

Published

on

Vivo and iQOO smartphones with rising price arrow and semiconductor chip background indicating smartphone price increase

The Vivo iQOO price increase is set to impact smartphone buyers, as recent reports indicate that both brands are planning to raise prices in China starting March 18. The move is largely driven by rising costs of essential components such as DRAM, NAND flash memory, and other semiconductor parts, which have seen a sharp surge due to growing demand from AI-driven technologies and data centers.

Why Vivo and iQOO Are Increasing Prices

The global semiconductor industry is currently experiencing cost pressure, primarily due to increased demand for AI infrastructure. Memory components like DRAM and NAND are becoming more expensive, directly affecting smartphone production costs. As a result, brands such as Vivo and iQOO are adjusting their pricing strategies to maintain margins.

While the exact models affected have not been disclosed, the price hike is expected to apply across multiple devices in their portfolio. Industry insiders suggest that this is not an isolated move, as other smartphone manufacturers have also begun adjusting prices in response to similar supply chain challenges.

Impact on Smartphone Buyers

For consumers, the Vivo iQOO price increase could mean paying more for the same specifications in the near future. This trend may soon extend beyond China and influence global smartphone markets, including India.

Buyers who have been planning to upgrade their devices may want to act quickly before these pricing changes are implemented in other regions. Historically, such component-driven cost increases tend to ripple across the entire industry, affecting mid-range and flagship devices alike.

A Larger Industry Trend

The anticipated price hike highlights a broader shift in the smartphone market. With AI technologies driving demand for high-performance chips, manufacturers are facing increased production costs. This shift could redefine pricing structures across the industry in 2026, making smartphones more expensive overall.

In conclusion, the Vivo iQOO price increase reflects ongoing changes in the global tech ecosystem. As component costs continue to rise, consumers can expect similar pricing adjustments from other brands in the coming months.

Vivo Y21 5G Set to Expand Vivo’s Budget 5G Lineup

Vivo Y21 5G has surfaced online ahead of its official launch, revealing key specifications, design details, and expected pricing. The new Y-series smartphone appears to focus heavily on battery life, smooth display performance, and next-generation connectivity, making it a strong contender in the competitive sub-₹20,000 segment.

According to the listing, the Vivo Y21 5G is expected to feature a 6.74-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This higher refresh rate should deliver smoother scrolling, better animations, and an improved gaming experience compared to standard 60Hz panels typically seen in this price range.

MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and Android 16

Powering the device could be the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The processor is built to handle everyday multitasking, social media usage, and casual gaming while supporting 5G connectivity for faster network speeds.

On the software side, the smartphone is expected to run Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top. This combination may bring updated privacy features, UI refinements, and performance optimizations.

Massive 6500mAh Battery with 45W Fast Charging

One of the biggest highlights of the Vivo Y21 5G is its reported 6500mAh battery. If confirmed, this would position the device among the largest battery phones in its segment. The listing also suggests 45W fast charging support, which should significantly reduce charging time despite the large battery capacity.

Camera and Security Features

For photography, the device is expected to include a 50MP primary rear camera alongside a secondary macro sensor. On the front, a 5MP selfie camera may handle video calls and social media content. Security features could include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock support.

Expected Price and Market Positioning

The listing hints at a price equivalent to around ₹16,000, suggesting that Vivo is targeting budget-conscious users who want 5G connectivity, a large battery, and smooth display performance without stretching their budget.

With these specifications, the Vivo Y21 5G could become a strong competitor in India’s affordable 5G smartphone market once officially launched.
