Nothing Phone (2) Makes Progress with NBTC Certification, Launch Imminent

Nothing, the tech startup founded by Carl Pei, is generating anticipation as it prepares to unveil its latest smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2). With a confirmed launch date of July 11, the company has been actively revealing key details about the upcoming device through its official Twitter account. Adding to the excitement, the Nothing Phone (2) has now obtained NBTC certification, indicating that its release is just around the corner.
Nothing Phone (2) Passes NBTC Certification
According to the NBTC certification listing, the model number of the highly anticipated device is A065, which aligns with an earlier exclusive revelation made by MySmartPrice in February. Additionally, the certification reiterates the moniker of the smartphone as Phone (2). While specific details about the handset’s camera configuration, RAM, and storage options are still undisclosed, some exciting features have been confirmed.

The Nothing Phone (2) is set to boast a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display, potentially equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. Powering the device will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. A recent Geekbench test revealed that the smartphone will come with 12GB of RAM, while storage options are expected to include 128GB and 256GB variants. On the software front, the Nothing Phone (2) is anticipated to launch with Android 13 out of the box.
To keep users connected throughout the day, the smartphone is rumored to house a 4,700mAh battery that will likely support fast charging. While further information regarding the rear and front camera specifications is yet to be disclosed, leaked renders from earlier this month hinted at subtle design changes compared to its predecessor, the Phone (1). However, Nothing’s CEO, Carl Pei, swiftly dismissed the leaked renders as “Fake” via a tweet, leaving fans curious about the actual design.
With the NBTC certification in place and the confirmed specifications so far, the Nothing Phone (2) is poised to make a notable entry into the market. Consumers and tech enthusiasts eagerly await its official launch, hoping that Nothing will deliver a smartphone experience that lives up to the hype. Mark your calendars for July 11 and stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new device from Nothing.

GTA V Maintains High Sales Numbers Even With GTA 6 on the Horizon

Rockstar Games has once again sold over 5 million copies of Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) in a single quarter. Even though fans are eagerly waiting for GTA 6, the success of GTA V shows no signs of slowing down.
Total Sales Reach 215 Million Copies
In its latest financial report, Take-Two Interactive, the publisher of the game, revealed that GTA V has now sold 215 million units worldwide. This is an increase of 5 million copies since the last report. These numbers also include physical copies sent to stores that may not have been sold to customers yet.

Interestingly, GTA V has been selling 5 million copies every quarter this year, which shows just how popular the game remains even after many years since its launch.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Also Selling Strong
Another Rockstar hit, Red Dead Redemption 2, sold 4 million copies in the last three months. The game has become the best-selling game in the U.S. over the past 7 years based on the total money made.
However, fans have noted that Rockstar has not released any major updates for RDR 2 in a long time, making its continued success even more surprising.
GTA Online Keeps Growing
While Red Dead Online has been quiet, GTA Online is still getting regular updates and content. This helps keep players engaged and brings in new fans regularly.
During an investor Q&A, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said that GTA V is the “standard-bearer for our industry,” showing how the game has set a high bar for others.
Even with all the excitement around GTA 6, GTA V continues to perform incredibly well in sales. Rockstar’s open-world games are still hugely popular, and fans are clearly still enjoying them while waiting for the next big release.

OxygenOS 15.0.1 Update for OnePlus 11 Brings New App Drawer, Camera Features, and More

OnePlus has released a major new software update for the OnePlus 11 smartphone. The update, named OxygenOS 15.0.1, comes with the build number CPH2447_15.0.0.820(EX01) and has a file size of 6.58 GB. This update introduces several useful features, design improvements, and important security enhancements to improve the overall user experience.

One of the main highlights of this update is the improved visual design for notifications on the lock screen. Individual notifications, notification stacks, and user interactions have all been refined for a smoother experience. A new Lock Screen Magazine feature has also been added, which can be accessed by swiping right on the lock screen.
Another major addition is the new Drag & Drop gesture feature, which allows users to easily move text and images in third-party apps. This can be turned on or off from Settings > Accessibility & convenience > Drag & drop. The update also improves multitasking by saving the size and position of floating windows, so users can pick up where they left off more easily.
The app drawer has been redesigned to offer a more consistent and user-friendly visual style across the interface. Along with this, the update also brings refreshed icon designs and user interface improvements. Floating windows have also been optimized to provide a smoother experience. On the security front, the update includes the latest Android security patch for May 2025, which helps protect the device against potential threats.
In terms of privacy features, OnePlus now allows users to secure recently deleted items in the My Files, Notes, and Photos apps with a password. The Phone Manager app has also been updated to show detailed storage usage by apps and the system when freeing up space. A new Screen Sharing Protection feature lets users block selected apps and notifications during screen sharing. This can be found under Settings > Security & privacy > Screen sharing protection.
The update also addresses a bug where some third-party apps might accidentally delete photos. In such cases, users will now receive a notification to review and recover the deleted images from the “Recently Deleted” folder.
Lastly, the Camera app has received a creative boost with the addition of three new portrait effects – Misty, Glowing, and Dreamy. These effects give users more options to enhance their portrait shots with different artistic styles.

Overall, the OxygenOS 15.0.1 update brings a fresh and more secure experience to OnePlus 11 users, with thoughtful improvements across the system, privacy, and camera.
