Nothing Phone (2) Makes Progress with NBTC Certification, Launch Imminent

According to the NBTC certification listing, the model number of the highly anticipated device is A065, which aligns with an earlier exclusive revelation made by MySmartPrice in February. Additionally, the certification reiterates the moniker of the smartphone as Phone (2). While specific details about the handset’s camera configuration, RAM, and storage options are still undisclosed, some exciting features have been confirmed.
The Nothing Phone (2) is set to boast a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display, potentially equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. Powering the device will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. A recent Geekbench test revealed that the smartphone will come with 12GB of RAM, while storage options are expected to include 128GB and 256GB variants. On the software front, the Nothing Phone (2) is anticipated to launch with Android 13 out of the box.
To keep users connected throughout the day, the smartphone is rumored to house a 4,700mAh battery that will likely support fast charging. While further information regarding the rear and front camera specifications is yet to be disclosed, leaked renders from earlier this month hinted at subtle design changes compared to its predecessor, the Phone (1). However, Nothing’s CEO, Carl Pei, swiftly dismissed the leaked renders as “Fake” via a tweet, leaving fans curious about the actual design.
With the NBTC certification in place and the confirmed specifications so far, the Nothing Phone (2) is poised to make a notable entry into the market. Recently, at the MWC 2024 event, which was held in Barcelona, Samsung’s VP, Hon Pak confirmed that the upcoming Galaxy Ring will not be supported by iPhones. Pak also said that their products are as good as the Apple ones.
There are also very good reasons to switch to Samsung’s ecosystem. Samsung is also working on making their devices compatible with other Android devices as well, not only with their own.
As we already know, Galaxy Ring comes in various sizes. Among them, the smallest one is powered with a battery of 14 mAh, and the largest one comes with a bigger battery of 21.5 mAh which will provide a battery backup of 5-9 days.
Until now, the launch of Galaxy Ring has not been revealed but some rumors suggested that it will launch in the Unpacked Event, which is going to be held in July along with Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6.

Apple, an American-based Tech Giant has recently shared full release notes for the iOS 17.4 update, which is expected to be launched in the first week of the next month i.e. March.
