OnePlus Nord 3 Confirmed: India Launch Set for July, Leaked Specs Inside
OnePlus enthusiasts in India have reason to rejoice as the company has officially confirmed the launch of its highly anticipated Nord series smartphone, the OnePlus Nord 3. The mid-range device is expected to succeed the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G, which made waves in the Indian market last year. While unofficial reports had been circulating about a July release, OnePlus’s recent post on its community forum has finally put all speculations to rest.
The revelation came in the form of a post about OnePlus’ renowned “The Lab” campaign, where tech enthusiasts get the opportunity to review the company’s handsets before their official launch. In this post, OnePlus not only confirmed the upcoming phone’s name as the OnePlus Nord 3 but also outlined the requirements for participants in the program. The selected reviewers will have to submit their comprehensive reviews of the shared handsets by July, with the reviews subsequently being published. However, the specific launch date was not disclosed in the post. Only six fortunate users will be chosen to review the much-anticipated Nord product.
Earlier rumors had suggested a June release for the OnePlus Nord 3, and leaked images of the alleged smartphone and its packaging added fuel to the speculation. However, with the official confirmation of a July launch, OnePlus fans can now eagerly await the unveiling of this exciting device.

The OnePlus Nord 3 has also made an appearance on the Geekbench website, revealing some of its key specifications. The device was spotted featuring a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. Moreover, reports indicate that there will be a variant of the phone with a staggering 16GB of RAM. Impressively, in a recent test conducted on June 8, the OnePlus Nord 3 achieved a score of 1,153 points in Geekbench’s single-core test and an impressive 3,180 points in the multi-core test.
It is worth noting that the OnePlus Nord 3 may potentially be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 2V, which was launched earlier this year in China. The Ace 2V boasts a striking 6.74-inch 2.5D AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution, providing users with an immersive visual experience. As for the camera setup, the OnePlus Nord 3 is expected to feature three rear cameras, including a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfie enthusiasts, it will offer a 16-megapixel front camera.
In terms of storage and memory, the OnePlus Nord 3 is likely to offer users up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, ensuring ample space for all their digital needs. Recently, at the MWC 2024 event, which was held in Barcelona, Samsung’s VP, Hon Pak confirmed that the upcoming Galaxy Ring will not be supported by iPhones. Pak also said that their products are as good as the Apple ones.
