Telegram, like Snapchat and WhatsApp, has been working on a premium subscription plan for its users that includes unique stickers, personalised app icons, and more. Early last month, the messaging platform released a beta version of its subscription plan. Telegram’s Telegram Premium package has now been made available to all users. In the meantime, Telegram has reached 700 million users. Take a look at the details here!
Telegram Premium Subscription Is Now Rolling Out To Users
The new Telegram Premium subscription includes a number of member-only features and functionalities that help the messaging platform reach its full potential.
Telegram Premium subscribers have access to a number of features that are not available to regular Telegram users. 4GB uploads, Premium Badges, Premium App Icons, Animated Profile Photos, and more are among the options available. You may also connect up to four Telegram accounts in any app, pin-up to ten chats to the main list, save up to 20 t.me links, and store up to 400 favourite GIFs and 10 favourite stickers.
Aside from that, Telegram Premium users will be allowed to add links to their profiles and write a longer bio for them. They’ll also have access to speedier downloads, profile video support, voice-to-text conversion, and other features. There will also be no advertisements.
Telegram’s recent update, which brings the app version to 8.8 for iOS, not only added the premium-tier plan for users but also brought a few new features for its free users. Bot enhancements, a new animation when sharing huge files, support for ProMotion 120Hz refresh rate, and minor bug fixes are among them. Better chat previews, the ability to auto-download media, and more are all available to Android users. Users who are on a free account will continue to have access to the new features as well as other existing capabilities. If you use Telegram as your primary chat medium, however, the Telegram Premium subscription might be a suitable fit for you.
When it comes to pricing, Telegram’s Premium-tier plan is available on a monthly basis. Users in India will have to pay Rs 469 (about $6) each month to access Telegram Premium features and benefits. If you don’t see the Premium Plan in your Telegram app, go to the Play Store or the App Store and update it.
