Nothing Phone (1) Set to Receive Nothing OS 2.0 Update in August
In an exciting announcement, Nothing’s co-founder, Carl Pei, took to Twitter on Tuesday to reveal that the highly anticipated software update, Nothing OS 2.0, will be making its way to the Nothing Phone (1) by the end of August. This comes just a month after the launch of the upcoming Nothing Phone (2), which is scheduled to be unveiled in mid-July.

Carl Pei emphasized the importance of software support to the company, and this commitment is reflected in the regular updates received by Nothing Phone (1) users. Earlier this year, Nothing OS 1.5 was released, based on Android 13, making the Nothing Phone (1) one of the first non-Pixel devices to gain access to the Android 14 beta.

The debut of Nothing OS 2.0 will coincide with the launch of the highly anticipated Nothing Phone (2) on July 11. This flagship device from Nothing will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and feature an enhanced battery capacity. Notably, the Nothing Phone (2) is slated to receive up to four years of software support, including three years of Android updates—an exceptional offering in the market. Furthermore, unlike its predecessor, the Nothing Phone (2) will be available for purchase in the United States, marking a significant expansion for Nothing.
Although the design of the Nothing Phone (2) has not been fully revealed by the company, leaked renders indicate that the device will inherit the sleek and minimalist design language that characterized its predecessor, showcasing Nothing’s commitment to aesthetic appeal.

Recently, at the MWC 2024 event, which was held in Barcelona, Samsung’s VP, Hon Pak confirmed that the upcoming Galaxy Ring will not be supported by iPhones. Pak also said that their products are as good as the Apple ones.
There are also very good reasons to switch to Samsung’s ecosystem. Samsung is also working on making their devices compatible with other Android devices as well, not only with their own.
As we already know, Galaxy Ring comes in various sizes. Among them, the smallest one is powered with a battery of 14 mAh, and the largest one comes with a bigger battery of 21.5 mAh which will provide a battery backup of 5-9 days.
Until now, the launch of Galaxy Ring has not been revealed but some rumors suggested that it will launch in the Unpacked Event, which is going to be held in July along with Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6.

Apple, an American-based Tech Giant has recently shared full release notes for the iOS 17.4 update, which is expected to be launched in the first week of the next month i.e. March.
